Chengdu Natural History Museum is located in the eastern part of Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. The architectural design of the museum integrates Sichuan local elements. The building is composed of rock-shaped monomers of mountain peaks.

To artistically design a museum that can fully present the museum functions, lighting is an important element. Exterior Lighting for Museum

Chengdu Natural History Museum draws its inspiration from Chengdu’s culture and geological structure. It has won an international design competition.

Through the use of LTECH DMX decoders,light and shadow can be reflected on the rock-shape white building exterior, creating the impression of daylight reflecting on mountain snow.

In the fossil, ore or specimen display space, lighting mainly focuses on the exhibits while other space tends to present the ambience with lighting.
